Rustique – from Red Deal, – is a new fully sculpted suite of 70mm profiles featuring five chambers and single leg beading; with PCE concealed gaskets and an ovolo-shaped feature. The suite is fully compliant with the latest building regulations and the latest product testing standards, including WER (Window Energy Rating).
With a fully sculptured edge system, Rustique offers superb versatility and design flexibility and is ideal for the manufacture of casement, French casement, tilt ‘n’ turn and vertical sliding windows; and residential doors, French, in-line and tilt ‘n’ slide patio doors. Furthermore, it can be readily and widely personalised with the employed if a choice of differently styled beads such as ovolo (convex), or chamfered options which allow fabricators and retailers in turn to offer a choice of custom design styles to individual customers.
Furthermore, Rustique is totally interchangeable and compatible with Red Deal’s new, enhanced System 10 profile. This results in an even wider range of sculptured or chamfered profile permutations; giving fabricators and retail installers huge design and sales flexibility from a tight number of core profiles.
It also helps reduce stocking and installation complexity; as does common hardware, reinforcement and other parts and ancillaries – not to mention identical manufacturing methods.
With five fully enclosed chambers for strength and thermal performance, Rustique’s 70mm profile is equivalent to most timber sections found in UK homes, and installations can be realised with minimal ‘making good’ after the removal of timber frames, or old PVCu or aluminium windows.
Available in concealed PCE, Rustique is designed to accept 24, 28 and 32mm sealed units. For improved fitter-friendliness and so that customers can enjoy full functional and decorative choice, the profiles are fitted with a single leg bead so that frames are internally glazed with complete security.
Rustique also comes with a wide range of precision engineered ancillary profiles that greatly enhance both structure and appearance, and provide almost limitless scope for product design and installation.
