Our Process
By following the flow chart below will illustrate the process your windows go through from order to completion
Delivery of Components
uPVC sections are delivered to us in specially designed stillages to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition to enable us to manufacture high quality products. Each section has its own bespoke design, which means that we can provide any kind of window or door product you require, whether in standard white, or in a Rosewood or Light Oak acrylic finish, or why not try one of our 'variations' range

CAD Designed and Made to Measure
All frames are made to measure, and are tailored to the exact sizes which our surveyor measures at your home. This way we can guarantee that each window or door is exactly to the correct size, fits within our minimum and maximum manufacturing tolerances, and will operate and perform as it is designed to throughout its lifetime.

Steel Reinforcement
Where required for structural rigidity and additional strength in areas exposed to severed weather conditions, frames are reinforced using galvanised steel sections designed to match the internal shape of the PVC-U sections. Steel sections are housed in fully sealed chambers to ensure that they do not come into contact with any moisture once they are installed into your home.

Drainage Holes Inserted
Drainage and pressure equalisation slots are inserted into the uPVC profiles by dedicated machinery to ensure the best weatherability when exposed to the elements. All uPVC windows are designed to allow a certain amount of water into the chambers of the system, and then out again. Water will not come insead the seals of your new windows and doors at any time.

Welding the Frames Together
All frames are fully welded for long lasting durable performance. Using bespoke equipment, the PVC-U sections are subject to a heat welding cycle at 240 degrees to ensure they are fully fused together. State of the art welding machines are used to carry out this process to guarantee the same results every time.

Cleaning and Finishing the Frames
After welding, excess sprue is cleaned off to ensure that gaskets and weatherseals fit perfectly into their housings. A feature groove is added to the external face of the frame to finish the frame ready for it's final assembly. Cleaning is carried out by a purpose designed machine using high speed cutters to provide the perfect finish everytime.

Final Assembly
After all the machinery operations have taken place, your new windows and doors are sent for final assembly by our fully trained, skilled operatives. Handles, locks, and hinges are added, along with glazing beads to complete the new windows and doors, and all products are fully tested to ensure that all parts are in full working order prior to going for final inspection.

Ready for Glass Fitting, Installation and Delivery
Once your new windows and doors have been assembled they will be inspected to ensure that there are no visual faults, and that the manufacturing process has been carried out in line with stated tolerances. Once we are satisfied, the new windows and doors are stored ready for our installers to collect in time for installation into your home.
